Cookie Policy

Effective date: 27/10/2026 · Version 2

1. Scope

This policy explains the cookies and similar browser records used by VISION VENTURES TEKNOLOJİ TASARIM VE PAZARLAMA ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (“Watchlabb”) on watchlabb.com and in its web app. Local storage records are also within this scope. For general information about personal data, the KVKK Privacy Notice and Privacy Policy applies.

2. Necessary records

Records needed for signing in to your account, keeping your session going, access security and remembering your cookie preference are used. To the extent necessary to provide the service, these are based on the legal grounds of performance of a contract or of a legitimate interest that does not harm your fundamental rights. Optional analytics/advertising permission is not requested for necessary records.

Your cookie preference is kept in a local storage record named “wl.consent”. The record contains your analytics and marketing choice, the time of the preference and the technical format version. The preference is treated as valid in this browser for a maximum of 365 days; after that period, you are asked again. If you delete your browser data, you may be asked earlier.

The session record is used to recognise the account you are signed in to and to renew the session. Because a persistent session option exists in the browser, closing the window does not always mean signing out. On a shared device, use the “Sign out” option. The validity of the session, signing out and the invalidation of access credentials determine how the relevant record is used.

3. Optional analytics and advertising

Analytics tools are used to improve the service by measuring visits and usage flows. Advertising/marketing tools may be used to measure advertising results, build audiences and manage the display of suitable adverts. These tools run only after you give permission in the relevant category; browsing the site without giving permission does not count as permission.

The analytics tools planned for use are Google Analytics and PostHog; the advertising measurement tools are Meta Pixel and Google Ads. If AdSense is introduced, ad serving and the related provider terms will also be added to the inventory separately. The fact that these tools are in the plan does not mean that all of them are currently active. Before the tools are introduced, the identifiers used, the actual purposes and the retention periods are updated in this text and on the preferences screen.

When analytics and advertising systems are enabled, IP/device information, browser identifiers, pages visited, and referral and interaction events may be passed to the relevant provider. Identity documents, T.C. identity numbers, face records and private support content should not be sent to these tools. For permission-based technologies, the basis for processing personal data is explicit consent under Article 5/1 of KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698); transfer abroad additionally requires the conditions in Article 9 to be met.

Reviewing the site’s status in search results through Google Search Console is not, in itself, the same operation as placing an analytics or advertising cookie in a visitor’s browser.

4. How do you change your preferences?

On your first visit, you can use the “Reject”, “Accept” or “Customize” options. Analytics and marketing choices are managed separately. You can change your choice later using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer menu.

If you reject, or continue without making a choice, optional tools are not run. This preference is not turned into an additional acceptance condition for basic membership and access to listings. When permission is withdrawn, the relevant tools are stopped; the related browser records that Watchlabb can access are cleared and the page is refreshed where necessary. Processing carried out lawfully before you withdraw permission does not become unlawful retroactively.

The preference relates to this device and browser. You may need to make a separate choice in another browser or on another device. You can also manage cookies in your browser settings; blocking all records may affect necessary functions such as your session.

5. Contact

The address of the data controller, Watchlabb, is Caferağa Mah. Şifa Sk. No: 19, Kolektif House, Kadıköy/İstanbul; its e-mail address is destek@watchlabb.com. Data rights and the application procedure are explained in the KVKK text.
