Listing Rules and Seller Declaration
Effective date: 27/10/2026 · Version 1
1. Scope and responsibility of the member who posts the listing
These rules apply to individual members and stores that create a regular watch listing on watchlabb.com. For the specific workings of auctions and Trink Saat, the relevant rules apply in addition. In a regular watch sale, Watchlabb brings the parties together; it does not guarantee payment of the price of the watch or its hand-over, and it takes no commission on that sale.
The member who posts the listing declares that they own the watch or are authorised to sell it, and that the watch is original and its sale is lawful. A misleading listing may not be posted using another person’s product, identity or documents. Authority to sell, and documenting that authority where necessary, are the responsibility of the member who posts the listing.
2. Membership, verification and ownership photo
The membership, address, phone verification and identity verification steps required for listing must be completed. Phone verification is carried out with a code sent by WhatsApp or SMS. Having a verified identity does not confer an unconditional right to publish every listing.
The ownership verification photo requested in the individual listing form must be provided. The watch is set to the time requested on screen and photographed as instructed; if this is not possible, the alternative verification method offered by the form is used. An image belonging to another person, or one produced for an earlier verification, may not be presented as if it met a new request.
The ownership image is not a public listing photo. The image check helps to assess whether the watch was in the person’s hands at a particular moment; it does not constitute a guarantee of legal ownership, authority to sell or originality. For stores, the relevant store application and publication checks also apply.
3. Accurate description, faults and signs of wear
Brand, model, reference, year of production, condition, condition score, signs of wear, price, currency and set contents must be entered accurately and kept up to date. Information that is not known must not be entered as if it were certain. Fields filled in automatically or with AI assistance must be checked and corrected by the member who posts the listing.
Known faults, damage, repairs, replaced or non-original parts, a missing box, papers or accessories, and any other material matters that could affect the buyer’s decision must be disclosed. Images of and notes on signs of wear and damage must show the actual condition. Describing a watch as “pre-owned” does not justify concealing known faults or damage.
A product that is subject to an ownership claim or a third-party right preventing its sale may not be listed; it may not be presented as ready for sale until the issue concerned is resolved.
4. Rules on photos, documents and content
Images must be of the actual watch that is the subject of the listing, current and suitable for assessment. Photos may not be taken from other listings without permission, and no edits may be made that misrepresent the watch, its signs of wear or its documents. Trade marks, images and other rights belonging to others may not be infringed.
The requested watch and set photos must be uploaded in accordance with the form’s rules. Unnecessary names, addresses, identity details and payment details on documents must be masked. The areas provided by the Platform must be used for communication; contact details, advertising or misleading payment directions may not be added to descriptions or images in order to circumvent checks.
5. Prohibited listings and misuse
Products that are non-original, stolen or unlawfully acquired, or for which there is no authority to sell, may not be published. Watches that do not actually exist, misleading prices, untrue documents, exceeding limits by using duplicate accounts, misleadingly duplicating the same product, and manipulating price or interest are prohibited.
No one may be harassed, and other people’s data may not be disseminated. No deposit, login code or unauthorised payment may be requested in Watchlabb’s name. A complaint made in good faith and the lawful pursuit of rights do not constitute misuse.
6. Publication, editing and review
New listings from individual members are put under review. Automatic publication may be available to eligible active stores. This option does not mean that no checks will be carried out afterwards. Significant changes may require a new review; the relevant status is shown in the panel.
Watchlabb may request information, documents or new photos; it may reject, request correction of, put on hold or remove a listing that is incomplete, misleading or contrary to the rules. In the case of urgent security risks, a temporary measure may be applied first. The member who posts the listing may submit explanations and objections through official support.
The publication check is largely based on the information and images provided. Approval for publication does not mean that the watch has been physically inspected or approved by the brand, or that it is guaranteed to be original, in good working order or owned by the seller. Watchlabb’s own statutory obligations are reserved.
7. Price, sale and safety
In a regular listing, the price is set by the member who posts the listing. Where there is a market estimate or supporting price information, it is not a definitive valuation or a commitment to a sale at that price. It is not guaranteed that a listing will sell within a given period or that it will receive views or offers.
The buyer and the seller agree directly on payment, checking of the product and the terms of hand-over. Paying a deposit to people you do not know, and paying into a third party’s account instead of the other party’s, are risky. Identity verification, a store badge and the approval of a listing for publication do not guarantee that what was paid for will be received, or that the watch will be handed over as described in the listing.
The member who posts the listing remains responsible for their statements regarding the product, their authority and its condition, and for the sale they conclude with the other party. As Watchlabb only provides the listing space, it does not become the seller, buyer or guarantor of that sale.
8. Keeping listings up to date, removal and conversion
If the watch has been sold or withdrawn from sale, the listing status must be updated. Within the permissions provided, the member who posts the listing may edit, deactivate, mark as sold or remove their listing. Closing a listing to the public is different from keeping the necessary transaction evidence in a restricted archive; deletion does not extinguish rights and obligations that have already arisen.
A watch that has been converted to an auction is not kept on sale as a regular listing at the same time. Conversion and return to a regular listing are subject to the status and timing conditions set out in the Auction Rules. Conversion does not cause earlier content or transaction records to be lost.
9. Seller declaration, acceptance and measures
The member who submits the listing makes the declarations of authority to sell, originality and accurate content under these rules. In the individual listing form, these declarations are made by confirming “I declare that this watch belongs to me and I accept the listing rules.” before submission. For store listings, these rules apply together with the accepted Store Agreement and the information presented during the transaction.
Watchlabb does not impose fines or contractual penalties. In the event of a specific security breach or repeated misuse, publishing or access to the relevant service may be restricted; the fact that a single sale does not go ahead does not in itself constitute misuse. Rights of statutory recourse and mandatory consumer and data protection rights are reserved.
